Elisabeth Brooke
Born and raised in Kent, Elisabeth comes from a family of wanderers, both
sets of grandparents lived in Africa and the Far East, she inherited their
wanderlust; leaving home early, she lived in Amsterdam in the 1970’s
where she first encountered counterculture, macrobiotics and herbs, moving
on to Spain and then to a kibbutz in the Negev.
On her return to the UK Elisabeth studied Herbal Medicine, Astrology, Psychosynthesis
counselling and Tarot and has used these tools in her busy private practice,
her writing and workshops and lectures.
In 1989 Elisabeth went to live in the Caribbean and stayed for 15 years, writing
and bringing up her daughter, investigating the local religion, Vudu and writing
six books.
Elisabeth returned to Fitzrovia in 2003 so her daughter could go to the wonderful
Summerhill School and to re-establish her private practice in London.
